Hotel Registration Information

The MontBleu is offering NRMERA a group rate for the annual conference. Conference attendees can apply these rates to rooms reserved anytime between October 6, 2008 and October 11, 2008. Reservations can be made by calling the MontBleu at 866-844-2696 and giving group code STNRME7 or group name: Northern Rocky Mountain Education Research Association.

All reservations must be received no later than September 08, 2008.

Room Rates (all rates are pre-tax):

• Standard room (single or double occupancy):
• Monday through Thursday (10/6-10/9) - $89.00
• Friday & Saturday (10/10-10/11) - $149.00

(*so if you arrived on Wed and stayed through Saturday the average cost for the 3 nights is $109/night)

All rates are subject to the prevailing county room tax, currently 10%. For each additional person there is a charge of $20.00 per night, (children under 18 stay free in the same room). Suites are available at the following prices:

• Executive mini-suites, $375.00;
• One-bedroom suites, $650.00; and
• Tuscan One-bedroom suites $1000.00.

Transportation:

The MontBleu Resort is located on the south shore of Lake Tahoe, 54 miles south of the Reno/Tahoe Airport.

Transportation from the airport is available via the South Tahoe Express, a luxury bus, that travels between the airport and hotels in South Lake Tahoe, 11 times each day. The cost of the shuttle is $24 one-way or $43 roundtrip for adults; for children 4-12 it is $12.50 one-way, $23 round trip; children 3 and under ride free.
